Update of the Celebration of Sacraments at Blessed Sacrament and the prayer of the community:

Due to the Coronavirus restrictions and the current situation it is not possible to have a large celebration of First Holy Communion. I am aware many parishes have a different approach which answers their situation, which is very different from ours.

With the government restrictions it is not possible to have large groups of children and families and adhere to safe environment ruling, and therefore, the parish has nothing yet planned for the future months for large group celebrations,
For those children and their families who have continued to attend Church on a regular basis to continue with their First Holy Communion preparation, and can show proof of evidence of attendance, there may be an opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament later this year, if the current situation changes and there is a change in local restrictions.

Please remember that for all Sacramental preparation it is your responsibility to provide record of Mass attendance, so please make sure that you ‘check-in’ with the steward on duty at Church and that they keep a record of your attendance in the folders provided.

Note:  that the Garden of Remembrance, the Parish Office, and the Parish Centre remain closed until further notice. Holy Mass with Congregation has been suspended. Even though, all the services at Blessed Sacrament Church are being livestreamed and saved permanently on our You Tube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/BlessedSacramentAintree

Please, take part in all our celebrations by clicking on the link above or just type “BlessedSacrament Aintree” on You Tube search. The times of the Masses are the normal times, consult the Parish Newsletter on our Website for information or any changes: https://www.BlessedSacramentAintree.co.uk
